Shinada is one of the new Itto-ryu recruits from the Shintoshin-ryu sword school.
Plot[]
Introduction[]
Shinada is introduced along with the other new recruits of the Itto-ryu under the burnt down Dojo. He was originally from the Shintoshin-ryu school.
Rokki-dan[]
Shinada, and the other new recruits shoot down the remaining Hebigumi after they attack the under ground Itto-ryu Dojo. Afterwards Shinada is shown running away with the others.
Leaving Edo[]
When the Itto-ryu left Edo, for Hitachi Shinada, and all of the other new recruits went with the main group. A long way down the road, shinada and the rest stayed at a small shack together, untill Tarieshin Hasshu, Shishiya Arashino, and Shozo Murasaki, attacked. Sosuke offered to fight them all three versus one, but every other member of the Itto-ryu starting with Shinada, who came up with a plan in order to get around the one on one rule. The three strongest of the new recruits Ariusu, Koda, and Yatoin tied Sosuke down, and brought him away, while Shinada and the five others took on the Rokki-dan. After Shishiya killed Maira, and Satake Shinada complained that the fact that such a huge man, can move so easily under such heavy armor. Shinada rushed in, and completely cleared his mind in order to face Shishiya. Shinada hurled his entire body over one of Shishiya's swings, but when he landed, Shishiya cut his arm off with his other blade. While screaming "Fuck", Shinada swung with all his power towards Shishiya, and cut through some of his clothes. Once he saw his blade had very little effect on Shishiya's armor, Shishiya slams his blade into Shinada's back, launching him to the ground, Killing him.

Shinada is one of the stronger recruits, faring better than both Satake, and Maira in a fight against Shishiya.
