Yatsushiba is one of the new Itto-Ryu recruits originally from the Taisute-Ryu sword school.
Plot[]
Introduction[]
Yatsushiba is introduced along with all of the other new Itto-Ryu recruits, under the old burnt down Dojo, as a former member of the Taisute-Ryu dojo.
Rokki-dan[]
Yatsushiba is an archer during the Rokki-dan's attack on the Itto-Ryu's underground Dojo and is later shown running away with his fellow Itto-Ryu members.
Leaving Edo[]
When the Itto-Ryu is banned from Edo, Yatsushiba and the others make a trip for Hitachi. Along the way, they stay for the night at a Shack, and the next morning while Yatsushiba is releasing the bodily fluids he spots Shishiya Arashino, Tarieshin Hasshu, and Shozo Murasaki coming from afar. As he goes to pull his sword on Shishiya, he is decapitated, and his head is brought to the other Itto-Ryu members to aggravate them.

Yatsushiba's true abilities are unknown as he was killed while he was taking a piss.
